Hello

I saw your DOOM conversion. It’s great^^
How many hours did you spent for the conversion of only one of those three games?
Can you like “Just copy the Source in Alchemy” or is it really a bunch of hard work?

keep being awesome!

Hi Boojakascha,

It took me about a week of work from when Alchemy was released to get Doom running. Most of the original source compiles without problems, but the hard part is the “interface” work — hooking everything into Flash so that it displays the screen, the sound plays, the controls work, the game saves, etc.

Also, I used the oldschool Linux Doom source. If I were smarter, I might have started with a more modern port like Chocolate Doom or PrBoom.
